Steve was a man who touched the lives of many evidenced here by his family and many friends.  I too was fortunate to come to know Steve and share in many wonderful life experiences because of him.  We went to Pageant of the Masters in Laguna, Descanso Gardens, The Getty, The Roy Rogers Dale Evans Museum, his mothers home, as well as numerous places in S. Cal.  The world was a better place for having him in it and he will be sorely missed, especially by his family and his wife June.  My thoughts, prayers and sympathies are with them. Cheers until we meet again in heaven Steve McNamara!

My Dad is the most compassionate loving man that I know.  He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  He loved everyone with a non judgment zone.  My dad taught me unconditional love and never to give up on anyone.  He loved his family more than anything.  My heart has a huge hole in it with the passing of this giant man.  Dad, you always called me your princess, and for eternity I will be.  You are my HERO.  Thanks for the wonderful example you have always been for me and the never ending LOVE you freely gave.  I will hold the awesome memories that we have made close to my heart.  I will miss picking up the phone to just shoot the breeze and the “I'm bored, the cats asleep,what are doing” calls. Until we meet again DAD, keep smiling.  Heaven has truly gained an angel. I love you with all my heart. ?

My deepest sympathies to Steve's family and those that knew him. Steve was larger than life with a heart that matched. Full of knowledge and kindness. He touched the lives of all that knew him. One of the few positive role models I had in my life. Wish I listened to him more than I did. I will miss you.

Dear June and family,
I heard so much about Stephen from June--he was truly her soulmate.  He also had a great sense of fashion.  Every time I complimented June on her attire, her response was, "My husband bought this for me."  The fact that you guys are such a wonderful family is a testament to your (June) and Stephen's great parenting.  If every family could attain even a fraction of the values and love that the McNamara family practiced, this world would be nearly perfect.  My love and thoughts go out to your family during this difficult time.

Steve was someone you could never forget.  I'm so glad I had the chance to know him and his family.

Steve was not only a great boss, but an incredible reader of people. Many had went to him to discuss a problem (always kept in confidence) and left with a practical solution. He never looked down on people. No matter what your age, gender, or color, if you wanted do what was right he always found the time. And where/how/when did he learn all the things he knew?... I guess that would take book to tell...

A perfect father. A man who loved his family dearly and took great care of his mother throughout her life.  He loved is wife and children unconditionally and would do anything for them, all they had to do was ask.  My Dad did not believe in second best, his life was first class all the way and will be missed dearly by his many friends and loving family.  He had a huge impact on all of his employ's with his strong business sense and had a great impact on all of them.  While his life was cut short, he made the most of his 73 years and he brought life and smiles to everyone around him with a huge heart and giving personality.
I will reflect on him and his outstanding standards for the rest of my life as there has been no better mentor than my beloved Farther, Stephen Verne McNamara.  He is with his Mother and Father now sharing his life stories and ready to greet his family upon their completion of our journeys here on earth.  I'll always remember him as we share a very special day, June 13th, the birth of his first, and I was his first Son father's day gift, I Love you Dad…

Steve, I only met you a couple of times, but June loved you very much and you made her happy for many years! I know you will see each other again.

Uncle Steve your were the best uncle a little niece could have asked for.  You influenced me in so many ways.  You will always live on through all of us who were lucky enough to be in your presence.  With love always!

What an awesome uncle to have. He always had a great come back or joke to share, appropriate, not always :D but that is what made him so authentic and he kept us kids laughing. A gentle giant full of spunk and joy. His laugh and smile were infectious and make me grin just thinking about it. :D You will be very missed but never forgotten. May your spirit be just as free as you were here on earth. Much love!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the kind words about the love of my life. I have known this man since I was 16 years old. Even after 50 years of marriage he still got a glint in his eyes when we were together.  I will miss him terribly but know in my heart he will still have that glint when next we meet.  Till then I hope he is seeing all the family and friends he has lost. I love you baby.
