When one looks over these fond comments from family and friends, one can begin to glean Susan's nature -- she was extraordinarily loving, outgoing, and generous. Along with others here, I can't believe she's gone. I first met Susan in 1980. Almost a lifetime ago. She was a hard-working single mom, incredibly resourceful, competent, and fun. She became a dear friend and, over the decades, we shared joy and sorrow, laughter and tears. She was the one we could turn to in time of emergency or need -- "I'm just a phone call away." Today is my son's wedding day. Michael wouldn't have even met his bride if it hadn't been for Susan ~ she should be with us this evening, having a glass of her beloved bubbles, and dancing with the groom.
Mitchell and I send our deepest condolences to Ryan, Chance, Carolyn, and the rest of the family.

I met Susan when I came to work at Richards Watson & Gershon as an attorney. She was always friendly , smiling and warm. She was fun and interesting to talk with and we compared notes about raising boys. I am very sorry to hear about her passing and I send my condolences to her family and friends.

Susan meant so much to our family. She was a mighty woman like no other! Unstoppable and extraordinary!
She had a way of transforming basic things into very magical and impressive pieces of art!
She is deeply missed and will always be deeply loved!

Susan and I first met each other in the early 80s, as two young women beginning what would become a decades-long career working at RWG. Many years later I became her assistant and we became a hard-working and efficient team. We truly enjoyed working together up until the time that Susan retired from the firm. During our years working as a team we formed a strong and beautiful friendship, and came to consider each other as a very special "best friend." Her love and generosity extended beyond our relationship, reaching into the heart of my daughter and granddaughter, Ariana and Ayla. Susan spoiled Ayla beyond belief and truly made her into the princess Ayla is today at age six.

Susan is genuinely one of the most loving and generous people I have ever met. We spent so many wonderful times together sharing a glass of wine or her favorite bubbles. Not having her here to spend time with has left a void in my heart and life and I miss her dearly. Bless you, my precious friend, you will remain in my heart forever. All my love to your beautiful family. Ryan, Chance, and Carolyn, I love you.

Lovely Sue, as we used to call her, was the life of our neighborhood. She radiated kindness, tolerance and love. It hurts to go out on Sycamore and not hear her voice, see her and chat with her.

To her son Ryan and to her family we give our deepest condolences and wish them peace and solace . May her soul Rest In Peace.

I don't even know where to begin. Susan was many things to me. She was a second mother when my mom was so far away, she was also one of my very best friends and my baby's grandmother. I've known her since I was 19 years old and I can truly say I wouldn't be the woman I am today without her pep talks, encouragement and love in my life. I spent many nights in her magical backyard sharing bubbles (champagne) laughing, crying and just sharing our lives with each other. I don't know what I will do without her in my life. I'm very blessed to have known her and to have been loved by her. She was a beautiful, loving, kind, strong woman, who will be greatly missed by all that she has touched.

Susan and I were friends for approximately 30 years while we were co-workers at Richards, Watson & Gershon. Like her neighbors, who have shared such lovely memories, I will always remember Susan's kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity to others. At the firm, she would take new attorneys under her wing and teach them how to be successful. She was the heart and soul of the firm for the many years when she served as the recruiting director.

My husband Greg and I would like to express our deepest condolences to her family, who she loved so much. You are in our prayers.
