Suzanne was born in Minneapolis, MN, the eldest daughter of June and Mel Pearson, Suzanne's sister Sherry Boyoum currently resides in a nursing home in New Brighton, MN, about 15 miles from the home that Sherry and her husband Ron have owned in Maple Grove, MN since 1979. Between the ages of 2 and 3 Suzanne had learned to read and write. In her pre-kindergarten and kindergarten years Suzanne wrote and directed plays in her grandparents' garage. In her kindergarten and elementary school years Suzanne studied tap dancing and baton twirling, and organized and led parades in her neighborhood. In junior high school she was in Junior Achievement, focusing on the radio program. One of the performers on that radio program was the professional singer Steve Lawrence. Suzanne was very busy and productive in high school in Robbinsdale, MN. She was very active in the concert choir, the thespian club, the art club and the French club, hence her high school sobriquet, "Frenchie." Just like her parents Suzanne excelled in academia. After graduation from Robbinsdale High School in 1955, Suzanne took classes at the University of Minnesota and in the late 1950's worked part-time at Prudential in Minneapolis. Meeting the love of her life, Noble Foss of Elbow Lake, MN, in the late 1950's, Suzanne Pearson and Noble Foss were united in holy matrimony at Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley, MN on June 6, 1958. The same dear pastor who had confirmed Suzanne at Calvary Lutheran Church was Rev. Ernest Gjelten who then officiated at the wedding of Suzanne and Noble Foss in 1958.
Suzanne and Noble lived in Sioux Falls, SD for a short time, since Noble was working at radio station K I H O in Sioux Falls. In 1959 Suzanne and Noble decided to move to the "City of Angels." Because of excellent references, Suzanne quickly got a job at Prudential on Wilshire Blvd. Noble was accepted into the Los Angeles Police Academy and graduated from that academy in 1959.
Upon learning that Pastor Ernest Gjelten had accepted the call to serve as pastor at Central Lutheran Church in Van Nuys, CA in 1960, Suzanne, Noble and their Son Steve, who was born on February 17, 1960, moved from the Hollywood area to the San Fernando Valley. When Suzanne was pregnant, she had to resign from Prudential, Times and policies have changed since then.
Later in 1960 Pastor Gjelten baptized Steven. Suzanne, Noble and by 1977, Steve were active in the Central Lutheran Church Choir. At Central Lutheran Church Suzanne taught vacation Bible School, helped serve dinner to the confirmands in the 1970's, brought meals to church potlucks, served as a wedding hostess, sang solos for special programs and funerals, read scripture verses at worship services and in concerts, helped make banners for different concerts, went Christmas Caroling with the choir and tried to find different ways to serve the Lord. In the Community Suzanne, Noble and Steve were active in Boy Scout Troop 422 in Arleta, CA from 1970 through 1975. Suzanne was also active in the PTA at Vena Avenue Elementary School in Arleta, the PTF (Parent Teacher Fellowship) at Village Christian Junior High School in Sun Valley and the American Cancer Society (in the 1960's and early 1970's). In the 1960's and early 1970's she and her Son would go door-to-door raising money for the American Cancer Society. After the early 1970's Suzanne, Noble and Steve continued to send donations to the ACS. Suzanne took classes at the San Fernando Valley State College, which was renamed California State University, Northridge. She graduated from CSUN in 1997 with a B.A. her major was Theatre. Her double minor was Art and English.
Suzanne loved to travel. From childhood through adulthood her travels brought her to Wisconsin, Canada, almost all the western states, most of the eastern and southern states, all the midwestern states, Mexico, Finland, the Soviet Union, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Spain.
Sadly, failing kidney's, plummeting blood pressure and loss of appetite led to severe weakness, unconsciousness loss of pulse, and ultimately death. Because of her absolute and undying faith, though Suzanne actually entered eternal life on April 7, 2023
