He was the oldest of four. Vazgen was always the one everyone went to for help. He spent his younger years playing soccer. He even changed his birth year to make himself 3 years younger to play longer. When he was done playing, he coached at the University of Armenia.
Vazgen married Rosa in 1975 and took on Rosa's daughter, Armine as his own. They then had three more daughters in 1978, 1979 and 1985. Vazgen wanted a better life for his family so they migrated to the US in 1987. He always worked hard to give his family everything he never had. As a mechanic, he opened his own business in 1996 where he worked 16-hour days, 6 days a week to have that American dream.
He was an exceptionally generous soul, who was happy to give everything he had for the ones he loved.
Vazgen is survived by his wife, Ruzan, his four daughters, Armine, Aida, Anna and Adrina, his son Arman, his brothers, Vahik and Rafik, sister, Janet and grandchildren, Arthur, Jaiden, Ryan, Ekaterina, Bagdan, Zoie and Noah.
