 It is with great  joy we remember Bill Wilson for so many reasons including his formidable manner in managing any given issue that would arise. We have missed him these last few years and now that he has transitioned to his light life we know that Bill, as Mark Ferber, will be ever present at every MARIACHI USA. 

Clearly my team and I were privileged to have worked with them for so many years.

Working with Bill for many years, my memories will always be fresh of a great guy.  Rest easy, old friend.

I first met Bill way back in 1963. Yes,he was even cool back then. A powerful strong body ,wavy blond hair, and a smile that radiated a warmth that came from deep inside his soul. He was someone that was respected and looked up to by his male peers and loved and adored by female friends and family. If he ever lost a fight or altercation in those early years I never knew about it. Not that he had many. He possessed a self assurance about him that went beyond his early years. You were a good friend to me and I will miss you brother. Randy Stapp.

I'll never forget you, my friend. A roaring Bear at times, a teddy bear at other times. Thanks for the memories. You'll always be in my heart. Rest easy now.

I grew up in Sun Valley with Bill's kids and he was one of the coolest guys I know. Swimming in his pool, Dodger and Lakers games and rides in his Corvette or Rolls Royce, Bill spoiled us all. Bill treated all us noisy and obnoxious kids well and didnt seem to mind having us around. I haven't seen him in years but my childhood had many luxuries my family could not afford thanks to Bill and his generosity. Thanks Bill, you will be missed. RIP, till we meet again!

May 12th 1975 was my first call in 33. I remember Walt saying "Hollywood Bowl pool cover" like it was yesterday and luckily I was working for Bill. I believe it was also the first call for Al Wilson too. We worked together for his brother and I  always remember it being a great way to get started in a wonderful career. We will miss you Bill.

Bill and I had a special friendship that I will always cherish. He was kind and caring and never seemed to mind letting a kid like me tag along to watch him work. He'd always let me think I was helping, even though I was most certainly slowing him down. Bill taught me how to drive a car, play pool, play card games, use a power drill…the list goes on and on. I am so deeply saddened by this loss, and want to give my condolences to his family and friends. I will remember Bill fondly always.

I have great respect for Bill Wilson and was sad to hear we lost him. Bill shared Ernest Fleishmann's vision to restore the Hollywood Bowl's position as the premier stage for contemporary artists. And Bill was a key member of the team that accomplished exactly that vision. May you rest in peace, Bill. And my condolences to his family, friends and Brothers.

I remember Bill before I even got into the Local. My dad used to go by Bill's house just to enjoy a chat on the way home from work. My dealings with Bill were very Special times and I will never forget the laughter, the negotiations, and his knack for takeing precise notes!!! Rest easy big guy, you EARNED it!

I always enjoyed working with Bill. He was a tough guy at first, but once you got to know him, he was accommodating, a good story teller, and fair. We shared a lot of laughs together. I know he and Mark Ferber are smiling down on all of us. Thanks Mr. Wilson for all of your hard work. You will be missed.

I remember the first time I ever worked with Brother Wilson at the Hollywood Bowl in the Prop Department.   He was such a charm to work with and for.  He treated everyone with respect and dignity and when he had to,  he got tough.  My condolences to his family and friends.  May You Rest In Peace Brother Wilson Jr.
