Yolanda Lopez Ramirez passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at the age of 79. A beloved resident of Burbank, California, Yolanda was a woman whose warmth, strength, and gentle heart left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She was born on August 10, 1946, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, a place she always held close to her heart. Throughout her life, she carried herself with quiet grace, resilience, and kindness, offering comfort and love so naturally to those around her.
Yolanda dedicated more than 30 years of her life working as a machinist assembler and stator winding assembler. She was admired for her strong work ethic, perseverance, and pride in providing for her family. Her strength was not only seen in her work, but in the way she cared for the people she loved.
Yolanda is survived by her adoring husband, Francisco Ramirez. Their love story began as neighbors many years ago in 1965, during a time when relationships were filled with innocence and sincerity. The moment Francisco laid eyes on Yolanda, he knew she would forever be his sweetheart. Determined to spend the rest of his life with her and make her his wife, Francisco set out to win her heart. It wasn’t easy by any means. With unwavering dedication and persistence, he remained steadfast in his pursuit—not only working to capture Yolanda’s heart, but also to earn the approval of her parents, who were understandably strict when it came to relationships. He began with simple yet meaningful gestures: heartfelt love notes, chocolates, and beautiful flowers. Through patience, devotion, and genuine love, he slowly won her over. As true love so often does, theirs flourished. Together, they built a life and family beyond their dreams. Family was always at the center of their world, and it showed in the love, strength, and unity they shared throughout the years.
Above all else, Yolanda’s greatest joy was her family. Her love was unconditional, generous, and ever-present. She would refer to us as the “the whole fam damily,” a phrase that perfectly reflected her playful spirit and the enormous love she carried in her heart. Being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her the deepest happiness.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Cruz Lopez Sr & Maria Lopez. Also preceded by her siblings, Armando Lopez and Laura Alicia Lopez, and her children Francisco Ramirez Jr. and Roel Rolando Ramirez.
She is also lovingly survived by her children Bernadette Marie Ramirez, Alexander Rey Ramirez, and Randy Alan Ramirez; her grandchildren: Alamanda Rose Ramirez, Yolanda Ramirez, Andre Ramirez, Alexander Rey Ramirez, Benjamin Felix Ramirez, Brandon Miller Ramirez, & Mikayla Ramirez. Great-grandchildren: Jade Elise Mardue, Mason Christian Joos, Gracie Zeppelin Ramirez, and Roel Stone Ramirez.
She also leaves behind her cherished siblings Catalina Lopez Alaniz, Jose Cruz Lopez Jr., Juana Rosalva Lopez, Myrna Sahagun, Hector Lopez, Joel Lopez, and Myrthala Lanier, along with many extended relatives and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.
Yolanda leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, humor, and devotion. Her laughter, her stories, and the tenderness she shared will live on in the hearts of her family — her “whole fam damily” — always. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
