This is from the Daniel family,in Arnos Vale,where Arthur grew up as family with us.We knew him as friendly ,loving son to both his parents and our parents.As we grew older we went to different  countries to live but still kept the memory of all the good times and respect for the families.We will miss Arthur as our earthly friend and family,but hope one day we will join him to continue  that heavenly joy and peace.

Today, we gather to say goodbye, but more importantly, to remember and honor a man who touched all of our lives in ways words can scarcely capture.
My father-in-law was more than just family by marriage—he was a guide, a quiet strength, and in many ways, a second father. From the moment I became part of this family, he welcomed me with kindness, patience, and a steady presence that spoke volumes without needing many words.
He always  offered a helping hand without ever needing to be asked.
There was wisdom in his silence and love in his actions. Whether in the way he cared for his family or the pride he took in his children . 
He leaves behind a legacy not written in headlines or monuments but in the hearts and lives of his children, his grandchildren, his friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love, his humor, his stories, his values—these are the gifts he leaves us, the treasures we carry forward.
To my father-in-law: thank you. Thank you for raising the person I love. Thank you for the guidance, the quiet nods of approval, the deep conversations, and the simple moments that meant more than you probably ever knew.
You may be gone from this world, but your spirit lives on—in every life you touched, every lesson you taught, and every memory we now hold so dearly.
Rest peacefully. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed, Dad .

I am so grateful to have known someone as kind-hearted and generous as you. You were always the first to lend a helping hand, never expecting anything in return. I’ll always be thankful for how you and Nana took care of me when I was younger and made me feel safe, welcomed, and loved. You were always so happy to see me, always ready to tell a joke to make me laugh, and always eager to share the latest news going on in the world or stories from your childhood.

You were truly family and someone I enjoyed being around. Thank you for being such a positive role model. Your guidance and your support meant so much to me. 

I have so many memories with you that I will cherish forever. You had a way of making everyone around you feel valued and at ease, and your presence brought so much light and laughter.

You took care of me when I was just a kid and gave me some of my most treasured memories. One that always comes to mind is the time you took me on the Jungle Queen ferry. I always felt safe with you around. There was a calmness, a steadiness in your presence that made the world feel a little less overwhelming. Thank you for always being there — whether it was to offer advice, talk about the latest technology, or just share what was going on in the world. You were always curious, always kind, and always present. I’ll never forget the way you used to say “Holyyy smokes!!!” whenever something blew your mind — it always made me smile and reminded me of your excitement for life. You will be deeply missed. I’m so grateful for everything you did for me and my family. Thank you for being my confirmation sponsor, for being a role model, and for showing me what real love and dedication look like.

I met Arthur and Olive when we were members of the Sunrise Orchid Society.  We remained in contact after they disbanded.  
Arthur and Olive were guests at my house whenever I had a get together or pot luck dinner.
(Olive would bring the most delicious chicken wings you would ever want to taste).
The last time we were together was at my 75th birthday party. (They was always fashionably late, due to the fact, that they always got lost getting to my place)😂
I also saw them occasionally at Community Christian Church.
I spoke to Arthur last on May 7, when he made a call to see how I was doing.  He said everything was fine, except that he had given away all his orchids.  I thought this was strange, but I didn't question him further.
Arthur was a real gentleman.  He loved Olive and his children .  We would never have a conversation where he would not brag about his daughters and their accomplishments, and when I spoke with him last, he added to this list, his grandson.
My sincere condolences to you all, and be assured that I am praying for you all at this time of sorrow.
May God rest his soul.

He was my neighbor. We shared talks over the years when I would go walking   He would be out front with his dog. I enjoyed our conversations and already miss them.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend and neighbor, Arthur. We have been neighbors for 35 years. Arthur was more than just a neighbor, he was like family to us. He was always willing and ready to help us with any and everything that we needed done. Always so kind and someone you could truly count on. His presence brought warmth to our lives. 

Arthur and Olive were generous enough to care for our first two children, Darron and Amaya, from their first year of life to the beginning of their preschool days. Our children know them as Uncle Arthur and Nana. It was the greatest peace of mind for us as parents going back to work, knowing that our children were  cared for by two wonderful people.

We were honored when Arthur stood for our son, Darron, on his Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Mark Catholic Church as his Confirmation sponsor/godfather. 

Thank you Arthur for everything you did for our family. We greatly appreciate all the love and kindness that you showed to our family. 

Arthur, we will miss your phone calls and your prompt visits which we always welcomed and loved, and also seeing you outside with your dog, Lola, always by your side. 

Our sincere condolences go out to Olive and the entire family. 

We will miss you dearly, Arthur. May God keep you in His care and May Your Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.
