Barbara, I can't believe you are gone. I remember all the wonderful times we had together in high 
school and how we continued our friendship for 60 years. We were inseparable in high school and 
shared so many important memories, and so much laughter. You were part of my family as I was of 
yours. You were another sister to me and I wish I was there at the end with you, but you were and are 
always in my heart.

I find it hard to believe you’re gone. I only knew you a short time yet I felt very close to you.  You were a beautiful person, inside and out.  I’m sorry that you didn’t share with me how sick you were. I would have tried my best to spend more time with you.  May G-d give Lisa and Irv the strength to carry on without you but to remember all the beautiful memories they have of you

The incredible strength and resilience you had. The love in your eyes at your daughter's wedding is something that I will never forget and forever strive to find, appreciate, and nurture. Barbara was my 2nd mom. She always wanted to give so much, always thinking of others. Acting funny in her own way with her husband, Irv. Being gone all day with her daughter, my wife, Lisa. Wanting to work out in some way all the time whether it was walking around the neighborhood or lifting weights. Listening to Elvis Presley.  Those are just some of the things I'll lever forget. Rest in peace, mom. You will be missed. 

Mom, I love you so much. You fought so hard. You're my hero. Please rest now in peace. It's okay. I promise. I will never forget the memories we made together as a family and the ones we made just you and me. I will cherish those, mom, forever. You're riding on my shoulder as my guardian angel.
