Dear Barry,                                                                                    Thinking of you lately about all the good times we had Christmas’s , the Night Owl, working together in Canarsie, and having a real true friend. I am deeply sorry I wasn’t there for you when you left us and I wasn’t as good a friend as you were. You are greatly missed by your family, friends, co workers, and myself. Unfortunately we can’t turn the clock back but you will always hold a very special place in my Heart. I Love you Brother and always will. God Bless You.❤️

Another year passed and I still miss you so very much my friend. I know you can see all the positive changes I’ve made in my life and I know your proud of the man I have become. You were the Dad I needed all our time together. Love you and miss you all the time.

Still think of you often Barry…you live in my, and the collective memory of those who came to know, and love you!  You were a trusted associate, and a great friend. I think if you often. Miss seeing you at the store. I cherish our time together and thank you for the talks about my husband. Ron respected your advice. I would come home and say Barry says i don't like telling people what to do but if i were you I'd get Ron to my Doctor's. We listened and Ron lived out a few more years than we thought. He passed away March 28th, 2021. 

I miss him every single day. I think of you when at work. 
Life is too short not to say what you mean. That's what I miss about you the most you're complete honesty.




I miss you my friend, you have been in my thoughts a lot lately. You have made such a tremendous amount in my life and I’m sharing all the updates and personal wins with you in my prayers. Thank you for the man you are and I love and miss you.

My condolences to the Krin Family.  So sorry to hear he is gone before we got to reconnect. I was a 16 yo boy from Brooklyn with his first job. Worked in store 83 with Alan Schwarz,  Willie, Allan Bellone,  Tommy Binasco, Mike Shea n Nelson Ticali .   Barry used to say if I had three Mike Fales  then I could get rid of  5 of you guys.  I always packed out  the aisle to impress Barry.  Julia would come visit the store and we made it look good.  He encouraged me to stay in school and not make Waldbaums my life.  I graduated Bklyn College and worked for Waldbaums for 5 years   He was a father figure,  a boss, a motivator, mentor and a caring person.  He built team spirit inside work and on the softball field.  RIP my friend.  

Barry was an awesome leader and father figure to everyone . When ever I clock in for work he would always check up on me to see if  I’m doing ok in school and usually when  I’m  not in my happy phase he would always ask if everything was ok. Working with him at wholefoods has been the best I ever experienced. He made sure everything was set up nice and customers were being taken care of .He was a true definition of a leader , Barry we will miss you .

Barry was an awesome leader. He had the perfect balance of toughness, nurturing, and approachability. He always ensured that his team members were cared for and made us all feel like he always had our back. He was very funny and very kind. Barry we  will miss you terribly. Dear Krin Family-  Amy and I mourn your loss.  I worked with Barry for many, many years and appreciated his wisdom, sense of humor, and professionalism.  I routinely stopped into his Pompano Beach store whenever in the neighborhood just to speak with him and soak in some of his thoughts, ideas, and perspective.  He may not have fully understood how much of a mentor he was to me and, surely, many others...he was a mentor and so much more.  Blessed with stories, charisma, and class- I will never forget him.  I can hear him now...."Howya doin' kid?"  Our thoughts are with you.

Just heard about Barry's passing and am so sad. Brings back memories of weekend visits to Aunt Molly, Uncle Sol, Bubbe, and Alvin's apartment. In addition to knowing there would be homemade lentil soup and seltzer on the kitchen table and that my brother and I would pretend to swipe Uncle Sol's cigar from his shirt pocket, we could always count on seeing some of you swing through. Very fond memories of a long gone era. Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.

My prayers go out to the Krin family. I am so sorry for your loss. Barry was a truly authentic, loyal and kind man. He cared for his Team Members like they were his family. I had the pleasure of working with Barry off and on at Whole Foods and every exchange with him was genuine. I always left feeling I had more chances to hear his wisdom. He will be so missed. I write this for my son, Ryan who passed away in February 2020. Ryan had the privilege of working for Barry at Pompano Beach.  Barry was a boss, mentor , friend and father figure to Ryan.  
Barry was there for Ryan through thick and thin. His influence was immense.

I was all of 16 when I walked into Waldbaum's.  Barry and my brother Michael Bellone used to watch me when I was younger.  Barry sat me down and simply said "at home we are friends, in here I am your boss".  I attribute that talking to and his mentor ship over the next few years that helped mold me into the person I became.  There was one time when he left on a Saturday at about 7PM, which was closing time, and he told me "don't mess around" but of course I couldn't resist.  He once told me the bucket of steam joke so I played that on the wagon kid.  I told him to go up the block to the gas station to get a bucket of steam to clean the back room floor.  While he is walking up the block, Barry sees him and asks him what he is doing.  My luck, Barry runs into a friend and has a conversation.  Well, he comes into the store and starts berating me to no end.  "I told  you not to mess around".  He is screaming and laughing at the same time.  We both had a great laugh a few days later.  Thank you for the life lessons.  RIP

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Barry so suddenly. I will miss his gruff voice and warm smile and laugh. Barry, you are carried with tremendous affection and respect in the hearts of so many and will be long-missed. My condolences and prayers go out to his wife, sons, and grandchildren. 

No words can truly express the sense of loss of such an amazing man.  He was one of a kind.  Caring, compassionate, genuine and kind, the impact Barry made has been tremendous. Barry was my first ASTL at Whole Foods back when we opened Wellington in 2008. He made me the offer, which started my career with them... 

I ran into him rather often over the next ten years. He always joked about being everyone's Dutch uncle... you know the sort, someone who isn't family, but treats you like you are anyhow.

Barry helped me grow in so many ways. His loss will be felt across multiple generations. I'm deeply saddened that another brilliant light has winked out in the night. Rest well, Uncle Barry.

I worked with Barry or as I called him Bearcat. I worked with Barry at Whole Foods Coral Springs for 4 years and learned so much. He was a great friend and mentor and we shared more than a few laughs together over the years. So glad we always stayed in touch

Barry was a great and wonderful human being. I was fortunate enough to work alongside him in the Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach stores.  He was so much more than a Store Team Leader-he was a mentor, friend, father figure. I am a better person for having known him.
