Dadi / Saba Bernie

We missed you already ! Thank you for all the good memories. You are great father, a husband, a friend, a relative, a father inlaw and the best Saba especially to our son Brennan. Everytime i say your name i cry, coz i know we’re not going to see you , we’re not going to talk to you in telephone and FaceTime. Thank you for being a great Dad inlaw to me, i felt especial the way you treated me. Next year im going to miss your call on my birthday?! You’ve never missed my birthday, for that kudos to you dear Saba! You’re the sweetest and funniest father inlaw. When i tell to brennan, Saba is gone and he reply to me; Mom stop crying, don’t worry Saba bernie is an Angel now, i will call him in heaven in facetime. We loved you so much Dadi . Alan Brennan myself we loved you. Thank you for visiting us Sunday 2am i know it’s you ! I saw you shadow in our door. Thank you for saying goodbye. I made a beautiful garden in our front yard, next time you visit us please enjoy your garden and sit in to your bench with your name on it. Dad, you’ll be forever in our hearts. We loved our Saba Bernie . “Im Strong Like a Bull” - Bernie-

For the last 62 years of my life I was Proud to call Bernard Solomon Phillips MY DAD.
He was the most caring person I know, He showed me how to be a Father how to be a Husband and more important how to be a Good Person. FAMILY WAS VERY Important to him and he would stop at nothing to protect and provide for them.
I will miss the Phone Calls reminding me of someone's birthday anniversary or special event, He was my event calendar.
I will miss the fact that when I was out of town working he made it a point to call Jow and Brennan everyday to make sure that they were ok.
He was a passionate golfer (and Very good as well), Loved Tennis, I used to play against him for pocket money when I was younger, He always let me win, but I had to play the game.
He showed me how to work with Electricity , Woodworking, Model Planes and how to never give up he always said work hard and you will have everything in life.
I know he is in peace now and resting after a full Happy wonderful Life. I don't want to Mourn his Death but I want to celebrate his LIFE.
Baruch Dayan Ha Emet. RIP Dad
