I remember seeing 3 movies with Burt one Chistmas Day. He knew his actors. I also remember him trying to stump me with a piece of music. He knew his artists. Burt was a very intelligent and refreshingly opinionated. Lloyd and I received the best of hospitality from him both in Florida and Long Island. He loved fine dining and early bird specials. One of his favourite restaurants was Rascals. I hope he will be remembered for his keen wit and his generosity. He was also known for putting many people on the road to financial security by sharing his immense knowledge of stocks. Ruby Card was the love of his life and an indispensible presence through most of his life. It was a pleasure to know Burt.

  Burt was so kind to his in-laws ( Annie & Burleigh Card) and they loved spending time with him.  I have fond memories of our times on Long Island, Florida and Nova Scotia.  Loved the way you spoiled your cats - we are following in your footsteps with our own felines. Thank you for being a special part of our lives Uncle Burt, we will miss you
