I was so sad when I heard the news about my Aunt Claire.  Alan, one of my fondest memories of your mom was Thanksgiving.  For so many years, that was your parents, but really your mom’s holiday.

I remember Jerry fighting with Doris.  Taunting her, saying when she dies, he Jerry will start taking Steven gambling and to bars.  She cried and begged, but he was so cruel.

I remember you cousin Stevie and His brother and their parents, whose names escape me.

I remember your or Randy’s pet alligator.  Whatever became of that beast?

I loved going to your apartment.  Anyway, Alan and Erica, I remember seeing her facebook account or some internet photos and it was both of you and it was so obvious how much she adored your kids.
And whole family.    
Just wanted to share some memories.

Visits with cousin Carol and Howard and nephew Larry and wife Ruth

We didn’t spend much time together in our younger years due to distance.  We were fortunate to spend lots of time together the last dozen years.  Mostly casinos and eating. She was a strong woman, always sweet and fun.  We especially loved watching her banter with Stevie.   The last few years of her journey have been difficult as Jerry’s health diminished and then hers.  We were happy to share these tough years as well.  We enjoyed her phone calls when we were not close by.  And when Larry called her he always started with “hey old lady”  and she would give it right back.  You will be dearly missed.  With all our love.  

We went for lunch every Tuesday for years!  Stopped for COVID but started up a few months later. Very much missed!

We loved many years of get together for holidays, birthdays or “just because we are family” with Aunt Claire and the family!  We will miss her dearly. Love The Budish Bunch.
