I was a classmate of Dave's at Pompano Beach High School Class of 1976.  I have fond memories of him as my class partner on many life learning projects we worked on together. We shared a sense of humor and had lots of laughs throughout high school.  He was a kind soul and we chatted through the years about his children and what a proud dad he was. Praying for his family at this most difficult time.  Until we meet again, friend, rest in Heavenly peace. 

If Jolly had a face, it would be Dave Rubin’s.  If kindness had a sound, it would be Dave’s voice.  I was blessed to have known Dave for the past 5 and ½ years that we worked together at US Mortgage.  I will miss him immensely, he touched many hearts including my own and I will always remember Dave in a happy way.  I will share a memory of Dave receiving a gift card for going above and beyond, as was a customary practice for him.  Later that afternoon, I asked what he was planning to purchase with his gift card, his response was “I gave it away, someone needed it more”… That was Dave.
My sincerest condolences to his family, I will miss seeing him light up when he shared pictures of his grandkids.  Rest in Peace my Friend.  


Remembering the laughs will help us forget the sadness.


Dave was such a great friend and co-worker.  We often hung out for dinner or even on a shopping run to Costco which was one of his favorites.  We compared notes on the best restaurants to go to as he always said he loved the fact that i was a foodie.  He helped me find solutions to little things around the house and even what products to use to wax my car.  I will never forget that he was the first person to show up when I had a car accident.  I will greatly, greatly miss my friend.  My deepest sympathy to his family. 

Sending love and condolences to all of David's family and friends. We had the pleasure of meeting David for a brief time when Brandon and Ali, our daughter, got engaged. I have such fond memories of David. 
When I was visiting Bella, ( many years ago) David took me out for my first Mexican meal so that I didn’t have to be with the “ old folks”.

I remember Dave from high school as one of the cutest guys in our senior class with his brown wavy hair, and kind heart. I have fond memories of him at that time in our group of friends. Our daughter, Stacy was privileged to have known and cared for Amanda and Brandon from the time that Amanda was 6 months old, as well as being involved in Ellyn and David’s life.
