Derek Connelly was my student at Gorton High School. I remember him very well. He was a very sweet boy. My deepest condolences to his mother, Wendy, and to his father. I hope your memories of your beautiful boy will bring you some solace. I am heartbroken for you and wish for whatever gives you some peace. With love.

you were truly  one of a kind human, and so shall your soul continue to forever be. Your the only person i know that could be having the worst day and yet still manage to keep a smile on your face. Addiction isn't a word, a definition, we don't choose it, it chooses us, Addiction isn't fun,  it isn't easy. Addiction steals, it lies, it deceives, it manipulates, it destroys, it steals your hope. Addiction is a disease a sickness, a potentually deadly disease.  I know you put up a fight against your addition.  You were doing great, you took back what  it stole from you, You. Something happen and this time it stole you for good. But now the chain are broken your finally free. Ed is having a really hard time handling this.  You were by far way to young, your life was just beginning! We will miss you Brother. Gone but never forgotten! Love always, ED, Vanessa& kids
