With deep sorrow, the Shuman and Hafetz Families announce the peaceful passing of Edward William on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. Edward leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Roberta, his beloved daughter Jill (Dan) Hafetz, his cherished son Michael (Elisabeth), his dear brother Steven (Shelley) Shuman, and his adoring grandchildren Ashley Shuman (fiancée Dan Wolff), Charlie Shuman, Scott Hafetz, and Arielle Hafetz. Edward was a source of joy and affection for numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A service to honor Edward's life will be held at Star of David Memorial Cemetery, 7801 Bailey Road in North Lauderdale on Thursday, March 7th at 1:30pm. Shivah will be observed following the service.
