Elliott was born on November 18,1934 in New York and grew up in Brooklyn. After serving in the Navy during the Korean War on the USS Doyle, he met his loving wife Lucille at a dance in Manhattan and it was love at first sight. They married in January 1959 and moved to Queens. Soon after Elliott and Lucille had 2 daughters Mychel and Dana. When the girls were young the family moved to New Jersey.
After working for 30 years at Bowne and Company of NY, Elliott and Lucille retired to Florida. Once in Florida, they vacationed regularly enjoying cruises and trips to see their girls in New Jersey and Texas.
Elliott also worked part-time at the arena, where he was able to take advantage of varying sporting activities. He loved working at the arena and meeting all the professional athletes, press and collecting memorabilia.
He become an avid golfer after retiring to Florida, where he golfed on a regular basis. He also loved when his family visited and being able to golf with his daughters and son-in-law Pete.
Elliott lived life to it's fullest, enjoying every minute with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Lucille, daughters Mychel and Dana, son-in-law Pete and his siblings; Sandra, Gilda, Anita, Robert, Sheldon, and Norman.

The family will receive visitors at the home of Mychel Edelson, 3 Magnolia Lane, Mount Arlington NJ between the hours of 4:00PM - 8:00PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2013.
