Estelle Fallas, aged 81, died peacefully on October 25, 2017, at her home in Boca Raton with her loving daughters, Stephanie and Brenda at her bedside. Estelle valiantly fought an arduous battle with cancer and several strokes before she expired. Estelle Parker was born September 27, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, and was the daughter of David and Betty Parker who immigrated from Russia.
A loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Estelle loved her family more than life itself. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1954. Estelle worked as a Jewelry Expeditor on 48th Street in Manhattan for decades. Around 1960, Estelle met the love of her life, Ely Fallas, at a candy store in Bensonhurst, and they married in 1965. They reared two loving daughters, Stephanie and Brenda while enjoying a happy family life where all neighborhood children were always welcome.
Estelle and Ely were married for 42 joyful years retiring to Boca Raton in 1992.
The “baby of the family,” Estelle was preceded in her death by her three sisters and Ely in 2007, and is survived by her daughters: Stephanie of Bradenton, Florida and Brenda of Los Angeles; three grandchildren: Christina, Danielle and Jamie; four great grandchildren: Michelle, Ely, Wyatt and Chase and a number of other relatives and close friends.
There will be a Chapel Service at the Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Chapel,7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL. 33068 at 1:45pm, Sunday, October 29, 2017. The family will begin sitting Shiva at the family home immediately following and guests are invited. Gifts of comfort, donations to preferred charities or flowers will be welcomed.
