Frances Feldman, age 84, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Frances was born June 5, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York to Max and Sarah Tendler. She was the youngest of 4 siblings, being born years after her brother, Philly, and her sister, Libby, but just a few minutes after her twin brother, Joel. She attended Tilden High School in East Flatbush, New York and, along with her twin, was voted most athletic in her class. She learned how to play the piano at a young age and enjoyed that hobby for the majority of her life.
A little later in life, Frances met and fell in love with her husband, Samuel Feldman. Together they had 2 children, Robert and Michael. She previously had a career as a secretary, but chose to become a homemaker to better focus on her family. After her father died relatively young, she was able to balance raising her children and helping to care for her mother. She was always a very giving person and did her best to make sure that others were happy.
Although the latter part of her life was very difficult, Frances continued to enjoy spending time and talking with her family, speaking to her friend, Helene (whom she had known for over 63 years), playing the piano, watching game shows (especially Family Feud and America Says), playing games such as bingo and Rummikub, eating lots of ice cream and dark chocolate covered almonds, and playing with her cats, Fluffy and Mitsy.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her eldest brother, her sister, and her cat, Mitsy.
Frances is survived by her 2 children, her 2 daughters-in-law, Sophi and Allison, her 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, Carson, and Dylan, her twin brother, her sister-in-law, Ruth, and her cat, Fluffy, who was possibly her favorite person in the world.
We love you mom!
