Francis “Frank” Marion Ouellette, 81, of Deerfield Beach, returned to his heavenly home on March 15, 2018 due to heart complication.
Frank was born to the late Isador and Sabina Ouellette, in New York, August 4, 1936. He was immersed in the Christian community that would be his lifelong support from an early age. He graduated from the University of Dayton in 1958 with a degree in science and continued his education obtaining a Master’s from Adelphi University, and ultimately his Doctorate in Philosophy from Boston College in 1989.
Frank was an educator at heart. He was a Chemistry Teacher at a number of high schools including Colegio San Jose where he went on to come Principal, and Superintendent of Catholic Schools in Puerto Rico. He was also Assistant Provincial of New York Province. Upon moving to Boston, Frank worked for the Archdiocese of Boston as Finance Controller for Catholic Schools, and retired as the Business Manager for North Cambridge Catholic High School in 2008.
He was unassuming and soft-spoken. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.
Frank is survived by his wife, Mary; his step-children, Anete Gibson, Sandro Dias and Deisy Schon-Adao; his step-grandchildren Alahmoana and Kaweh Dias, Rafael Silva, Connor and Brendon Dias; and one great-grand-daughter. He is preceded in death by his sister, Sister Catherine Ouellette, and his parents.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 21st, 1:30 p.m. at St. Jude, 21689 Toledo Road, Boca Raton, friends and family are invited to attend. The family gratefully declines flowers and donations, but prayers, condolences and memories are gladly accepted.
