Dr. Gary Krulik

It’s hard to imagine South Florida without Gary—a beloved orthopedic surgeon and friend to so many. Born and raised in New York, he moved to Coral Springs in 1973 to build his medical practice and provide a warm and sunny life for his family. From his early days as the team doctor for Coral Springs High School football, to his decades of support for community arts, museums, libraries, and medical organizations, to his love for the University of Miami Hurricanes, and to his countless hours on local tennis courts and golf courses, “Dr. K.” had friends up and down the coast.

He is survived by his wife, DeAnne Krulik, children Tracy Krulik (husband Tom Dillickrath) of Virginia and Douglas (Melissa) Krulik, his grandchildren Joshua and Sydney Krulik, and his adored cats Maggie and Agatha, and Scarlet the macaw. Gary was preceded in death by his wife Stephanie Krulik, parents Murray and Elaine Krulik, and brother Richard Krulik.
