Harold was born in Long Beach, NY on May 2, 1939 to Harold and Margaret Dieter. Harold received his Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University. Harold later worked for, and retired from, the Drug Enforcement Administration where he worked both in the Washington, D.C. office and later the Miami office. Harold enjoyed playing softball in his younger years and hanging out in the garage watching football. He also enjoyed gardening as his family owned a farm for many years in Michigan. He will be missed by his dog Major who has been his loyal companion for the last few years. Harold also had a great sense of humor that kept his family, caregivers and friends laughing.
Harold was a family man and was predeceased by his devoted Wife, Helene Dieter and his son Gregory Dieter. Additionally, Harold was much loved by his sons Kenneth Dieter and Robert Dieter, both of whom lived in Florida. Harold was very proud of his three grandchildren, Brett Dieter, Kurt Dieter and Brandon Dieter.
