Helene Sue Krakower-Wiede, 63, of Sarasota, FL, died April 15, 2014 after a brief, but brave fight with cancer. Born in Paterson, NJ, Helene lived in various parts of the country before retiring to Sarasota. Helene graduated from the University of Tampa in 1972 and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Daughter of Janet and the late Stanley Krakower, who passed away on on November 29, 2013. She is also survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Raymond; son Jonathan (Aileen) Wiede; daughter Allison Dubin (David Brown); granddaughter Chloe Wiede; and brother Mark (Beth) Krakower. Funeral services Friday, April 18, at 3:15 PM, Star of David Memorial Chapel in N. Lauderdale. Shiva immediately following the services at the home of Janet Krakower.
