Herbert C. Kelly of Tamarac Florida died November 16th at Vitas Hospice. He was born in Jackson Michigan to Herbert G. and Mary H. Kelly, the first of seven children. He graduated from Balboa High School, Panama Canal Zone in 1953. He joined the U.S. Army in 1957 and was part of the Military Police. He enjoyed his years in the service and remained a proud veteran and patriot. Following discharge he was employed by Norwalk trucking company and Sears, working in maintenance. He moved to Florida in the 1980's and worked for Cambridge Diagnostics until his retirement at age 80. Known as Herb to his friends and as Herby by his six sisters, he enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises, taking photos and spending time with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Pat Richardson of Virginia. He is survived by sisters: Jean Wells ( California), Mary Goode ( Texas), Ruth Kelly ( Michigan), Sharon (Gerry) Kelly (Michigan), Karen (Bob) Judd also of Michigan, several nieces and nephews and dear friends Delores Marshall, John Whitmore and Gary Clark. At his request there will be no services. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at time of internment.
