Ina Devorah Wachman, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 16, 2022. She was born on June 22nd, 1943 in Chelsea, MA to Samuel and Bella Alpert. Ina and her family moved to Florida in the early 1970s.
Ina is survived by her children - son Michael Wachman, daughter Sarah Chisenhall and husband Gar, and Elliot Wachman and wife Lynn; grandchildren - Richard, David, Julia, and Daniella; and daughter-in-law Clemencia Chapman. She is also survived by her nephews, Raymond and Danny, and niece Susan.
Ina found tremendous joy in cooking for others. She was also highly skilled with a crotchet hook and loved donating her works to community charities. Most of all, she loved her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday October 20th, 2022 at 10:30am at Star of David Memorial Gardens, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale 33068. In Ina’s memory, the family suggests donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, FL, or any hospice of your choosing.
