Ingeborg Glancz (Inga) passed away in Palm Beach, Florida. Formerly of Long Island, New York.
Born in Frankfurt Germany. Lived through WWII and met her husband Lester in 1948 in Germany. He was a Holocaust survivor. They were married in 1948 in Frankfurt Germany. After they were married, they moved to Canada and subsequently to New York. They were married 62 years when Lester passed away.
They were both tailors and eventually opened and operated their own Dry-Cleaning establishment on Long Island.
They retired to Pompano Beach Florida and spent many years together in retirement.
Inga leaves behind two sons Alan and Steven Glancz, along with two daughters-in-laws
Kathy and Rita. Five granddaughters Lauren, Michelle and her husband Robbie, Brianna and her husband Craig, Sabrina, Danielle and her husband Michael.
Eight great-grandchildren, Christopher, Zachary, Brayden, Colton, Gryffin, Ava, Penelope, and Navy.
Also survived by her brother George and his wife Elizabeth, and niece Natasha.
She was one of the most loving, caring, and generous people you could ever meet.
She had and made so many friends through her entire life.
She loved her family very much and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apples of her eye.
The service will be held at Star of David Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 27th at 11:45 am in North Lauderdale, Florida.
