Jack grew up in Chicago, where he graduated from Austin High School in 1956. He then attended Roosevelt College where he received his Associate Degree. Later, Jack worked in retail, primarily in the furniture industry.
Jack was an active member of Temple Beth Israel. He enjoyed sailing his boat, the Fantasy, in the upper Florida Keys. Above all else, Jack's family was of utmost importance to him. Jack was an exemplary husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his countless jokes and stories and for the way he made everyone that he met feel like family.
