Jane Baxter Cohen

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jane Cohen, age 82, on Tuesday morning April 12, 2022. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and her pets at home in Greenville, South Carolina.

Jane was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She left a memorable and admirable mark on everyone she met. She was beautiful, magnificently proper, whip smart, and had a knack for making those around her feel welcomed and at ease.

She enjoyed the theater, spending time with friends, traveling, her animals, dining out (she always knew the latest and greatest restaurants around!) and her Carolina mountains. Truly one of a kind, she will be deeply missed by all.

Our cherished Jane is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years Stan Cohen, her loving children Andrew Cohen, Jennifer Alspector, adored son-in-law Brian Alspector, and Marcia Patten.

Her adoring grandchildren Madison Alspector, Reese Alspector, Adam Alig and

wife Courtney. Great grandchildren Thomas, Sara and Grace Alig.

Jane was preceded in death by her late husband Howard Klubeck, and her beloved prized Irish Setter, Shay.

The family wants to extend our deepest gratitude and thanks to Jane’s Hospice team. In particular, her nurse Jamie who was a beacon of love and light to us all.

A private graveside service will be held at Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
