I woke up yesterday and said my daily prayers. One of them included bringing Comfort to all who were mourning the passing of Jerry !
He was the epitome of the Yiddish expression;
"A Gute Nashuma" translated as A Good Soul!

Whoever came across his path, left with the same feeling of Love FROM him. It wasn't hard to feel as he always had his Smile on his face. It was never about the quantity of time you spent with him, but rather the Quality.
 
The Proverb for the 15th day of the month says:
Fear of the Lord teaches Wisdom and Humility comes before honor. Prov15:33
Jerry was a Humble person giving Peace and Love to all. Yesterday he was given the Honor of going home in 
LOVE and PEACE to our Creator.

Jerry's candle was lit every day in order to give light to others. 
I thank him and will remember him for surely lighting mine! RIP

Jerry and my brother Stuart Gotkin were best friends in Brooklyn
as kids growing up. May his memory bring smiles to everyone as he was a sweet wonderful person. RIP my friend !

Jerry was a faithful member of the Compassionate Friends of Boca Raton, an organization that supports parents who have a child who died. He helped so many people by sharing his experience and inspiring hope. He taught us how to live with loss, he came to every meeting when he was healthy and he was very inspirational. His smile was incredible. He was one of the kindest people I know.  He was never too busy to help. He is finally with his son and that gives me some comfort.

Friends for over 35 years, A great father , husband and friend of everyone, you will be missed  by all that new you , 

       GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU 

Jerry your kindness and smile will always be embedded in my mind. You were so much fun to work with and you truly enjoyed your life.  May you rest in peace now.  With a heavy heart today we say good-bye for now. God bless your family in this time of sorrow.

We will miss you, my friend for over 50 years.
My "Kingsmen"  Brother. 
You were a warrior, you fought and lived with dignity, pride, and  a great sense of humanity. I am proud to say we were true friends.

jerry was a really good guy. my brother had the kingsmen watch over me when  i was a kid (make sure i didnt get into any trouble). lol when i talked to him he was always gracious and generous with his time. i know he will be  missed. sorry for your loss.
