Jerry Klang

Jerald S. Klang, 78, of Coral Springs, Florida passed away on January 25, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Jerald was born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a teaching degree. Instead of going into teaching, he decided to serve the people of Ohio as a State Parole Officer. After 7 years as a parole officer, he moved on to hold high level sales positions with major corporations. In 1974, he moved to South Florida with his two sons to start a new career and became President of Jerry Klang and Associates, a manufacturer’s representative company focusing on the specialty chemical and janitorial supply market. He was known as “The Expert” in this market. His customers as well as his competitors always sought out his advice.

His is survived by his wife Elayn, his son Jay of Coral Springs, who worked with Jerald since graduating from the University of Florida in 1986, his son Mark of Rocklin, California, a retired Major in the United States Air Force, his two grandsons, Clark and Richard of Coral Springs, and his two granddaughters, Brittany and Hannah of Rocklin, California.
