A graveside service will be held at New Montefiore Cemetery, located at 1180 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY, 11704, United States. The service is scheduled for February 16, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
The Brooklyn Heights Synagogue mourns the passing Monday, February 10, 2025 of Joan Gottesman Bailey, beloved mother of our member Ross Brown (Lisa Securo), and Marla Malatak (Joseph Malatak); grandmother to Tobin and Avery SecuroBrown and Jake Malatak. She was 87 years old.
Joan was predeceased by her granddaughter Shelby Malatak. She is also remembered by her sister Carole Laquercia. Joan is survived by her husband, Robert Bailey.
Joan's burial will take place this Sunday, February 16, at New Montefiore Cemetery in Babylon LI.
