Just last night I was sharing on a (Hialeah) FB group that asked what the first concert was I had gone to. 
My first rock concert was at Miami Jai Lai with Laura. Blues Image.
We spent the afternoon making caftans to wear that night. 
Love and miss you, Laura. And yes; I am still living down the street from your favorite shopping center, Ala Moana Shopping Center. It is still the largest shopping mall in the state of Hawaii. "Ala Moana do is shop." That still makes me laugh.

Laura was one of the sweetest and most caring friends I have ever known. She loved all of her children and grandchildren so much and  she will always be with you in your hearts. ❤️ So sorry again for your loss.

I just learned of Laura's passing today. I am so saddened and shocked. I was a close friend of her brother Bruce's in PSN several years back. Laura was always kind to me. I so much wanted to spend a lot more time with her. I talked to her mother Lucy many times, and I met her other brother Frank and half-brothers Don and Jim from Texas. I also used to attend Calvary Chapel in Ft Lauderdale & then in Plantation after I had moved. Laura was very caring and giving. She was far too young to leave this earth but God had a reason. We all need to cherish our family and friends while we have them. May our Lord Jesus eternally bless her, & give her peace and joy. Love to her

I met Laura through a hospice social worker that referred me to her when she was caring for a loved one and needed help. We then discovered we both attended Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale and both of us volunteered in the church nursery.  She had such a bright, bubbly, big personality. She exuded joy with her radiant smile!  Her faith in God was so deep, full of wisdom and evident by the many she served. I adored talking to her about our spiritual journeys and so enjoyed her animated storytelling! I miss her like so many at church do. She was a gift to us all and we thank God that she was a part of our lives. May the Lord bless and keep her until we meet again in heaven. Sending love and prayers to her family. John 11:26
