I am one of the lucky ones that has known Lee for many years. She was always the kindest, sweetest and most caring woman. When her daughter and I were living together as roommates she always treated me like her own daughter, like family. It’s memories like those that I will cherish forever. Heaven has gained an angel at our expense! With love and condolences to the entire family... RIP Lee. 

Lee filled a hole for me. When I first met Lee, my grandmother was close to passing and the next time Lee and I met she had left this earth. All the things I was sad and angry about my grandmother missing, Lee saw.  She saw me after I graduated from high school, she became my family when I was going through college, she congratulated me when I became the first in my family to get my bachelors degree, and most importantly she became my favorite part of visiting Florida. 

She was my movie date, dinner date, poolside date, heck even her iPad date to fix it for her. I loved every minute I got to chauffeur her around and we were able to listen to our country music.

I’m so grateful that she allowed me into her life and into her families lives. You all have made the biggest impact on my life in such a small amount of time. I hope she is at peace and eating as many bang bang shrimp as her heart desires! 

Lee you are so loved and already so missed. Florida won’t be the same without you next door. 

Know that I am with you all and thinking of you during this difficult time. 


Lee will be missed.  What a really cool lady.  Many happy memories and a lot of laughs with Lee.  I will always remember her saying to us "have fun"  .  Talking about books and movies..... she was on top of the latest and greatest.
