One year in heaven.  So difficult to comprehend.  Think of you often.  You are so missed !!

I first met Louie in 1969 at the Flagler Hotel.  I knew from the first moment I saw him in the dining room that we would become great friends.  The friendship lasted over 50 years and brought so many great guys and girls together that we  cherish to this day.   His humor, his presence, his outgoing personality and gigantic  heart made him so very special.  I will miss him dearly and will think of him often although it is so difficult to believe he is no longer with us.  On behalf of myself and all the boyz, rest in peace louie, you will never be a  myth, just a bright shining star in all our lives!!

Lou and I went back to our junior and high school days in Canarsie, Brooklyn.   We worked up in the Catskills starting in 1969.   Louie was a warm and extremely funny man.  Both of us loved to mimic people and provide others with fun and laughter.  We live thousands of miles apart and through the beauty of social media were able to reconnect and say hi to one another every so often.   Louie’s passing stunned and saddened me.  The silly stories and capers we got into  are endless.  You will be missed Louie, you were an original.  Please accept my condolences.  Don Schwartzer

We were so sorry to hear of Lou’s passing. He was a valued member of our Acorn Ponds Community and never failed to greet us with a warm greeting. May his memory be a blessing.
