Louise was a dear friend in graduate school and for many years after that. Our paths diverged after we left Chicago and we lost touch, only recently reestablishing contact. Despite the distance, she was often in our thoughts. Her smile and sense of humor never left us. Our condolences go out to her mother and sister.

Louise was a  a close friend in graduate school and for many years after. Although life took us to separate parts of the country and divergent paths, we always thought about her fondly over the years and were happy to recently reestablish connections. Her passing is sad news and our condolences go out to her mother, sister and other family members. Her smile and sense of humor will be missed.

Joe and I also met Louise in graduate school at LSU and became friends. We were very sorry to hear this sad news. Louise was always a person with a great sense of humor, although very subtle. We will miss her and say Kadish for her tonight.

We met Louise 35 years ago in graduate school.  She was always great fun to be around.  Although we haven't seen her as much in the last ten years, we always talked about her with our mutual friends.  We will miss her smile.  John and Nancy Wallace
