Lukeroy Kendrick Rose affectionately known as (Travis/ Luke), was born to Lavern Rose and Luke Byfield, on October 4, 1982, in Miami Florida. Travis/Luke was raised by his mother Lavern and Steve Jumpp the father who played an exceptional role in his life since the age of 2.
Luke/Travis grew up in Miami where he obtained his early education by attending Joella C. Good elementary school in Miami Gardens FL, Pines middle school in Pembroke Pines Fl, and Coconut Creek High School in Coconut Creek FL, he then relocated to Chicago Il, where he attended Argo Community High School, continuing his education and went on to graduate in 2000.
In 2004 Luke/Travis relocated from Chicago to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he lived for one year then, in 2005, he moved to Phoenix Arizona where he called home. While in Arizona he wanted to pursue becoming an artist because he loved art, however he chose to take his talent into the field of sales where he found that passion. Travis/Luke was great in sales and very passionate at what he did, he was determined to be an entrepreneur. He managed a company and because of his outgoing character, and the love of his employees he was given the name “Lucci” he then formed his own symbol for that name with a flash of the letter” L” made with his fingers, those who worked with him knows what it symbolized.
Travis/Luke/Lucci is a devoted father and possessed a deep, close, and valued relationship with his family, and friends. He was known for being outgoing, with an infectious smile. He was full of life and had a passion for life, he lived a life of sharing, and giving to others. He was known for his ability to light up a room and for his readiness to embark on new adventures. His legacy of unwavering spirit of kindness, laughter, and love for life will continue to inspire all who knew him. Travis/Luke/Lucci was a lover of fashion, a sports enthusiast, and spent his leisure time enjoying wrestling, football and basketball. He was an avid supporter of WWE.
On June 28th 2024 at 10:42 P.M. God dispatched his Angels to bring Lukeroy from life on this side and took him to the garden of everlasting life. He leaves to cherish his many memories, his Mother Lavern (Claudette), Fathers Lukey and Steve, two Sons Jahsiah and Kingston, three brothers, Donvito (Vito), Cheovaris (Che), and Ronel (Asfaw), one sister, Tareva (Camille), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Travis/Luke’s legacy of kindness, passion, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Sleep on sleep and take your rest you will be sorely missed but also not forgotten. Rest in Eternal Peace.
