It is with great sadness that Martin Milgrom, at 93, was called home to the lord on June 19, 2021, at Aventura medical center due to complications of his heart and kidneys. Marty was born in Philadelphia to parents Ben and Ida. He was the youngest of the four siblings Harold, Bernice, and Lil. Marty had a show-stopper personality and his biggest passion was his family and friends. He was a master in the cleaning and drapery business while also owning three dry cleaners and a 7-Eleven. He was married to his first wife, beautiful Joan Milgrom, who died tragically at 59. He is survived by his wife Vivian, her daughter Francine, and her son Mike. Marty had so many hobbies that he enjoyed. These included live performances, 5-star meals, crowded casinos, riding bikes on the boardwalk, swimming at the pool, and going on cruises. He was an avid golfer and loved the country club lifestyle. He was always the life of the party and carried a presence in every room he walked into. He gave everything to his kids. Joey, Diane, and Beth meant everything to him. He spent most of his time with their children Stacey, Jeffrey, Jordan, Michael, and their new babies Teddy and new arrival Levi. His last couple of years were hard for him especially when he could not drive his beloved Cadillac around anymore. He felt very discouraged and depressed that he could not drive to fancy dinners or meet his family at events. The Marty Milgrom confidence, personality, and compassion will be greatly missed. His iconic hugs and handshakes will never be forgotten or replicated. His funeral will be Thursday, June 22, 2021, at 11:45 am at the Star of David. We will not be doing Shiva as we will do a celebration of his life at a later date. We would like all donations to go to the American cancer society or The Alzheimer's Association, or The Miami transplant Institution 1801 NW 9th Ave. Miami Fla, 33136.contact if needed [email protected] or [email protected] or [email protected] presence will surely be missed and his infectious love for his amazing family.
