A FANTASTIC PERSON.  YOU WILL BE DEARLY MISSED.

We were so saddened to hear of Dr Moshe's passing. After a freak accident on a Segway our son was admitted to Broward Hospital. Thank G-d Dr Moshe was there and took a very personal interest in our son. He was far from home and our daughter in law was with him, yet he still called us before and after the surgery. It was touch and go, and Dr Moshe was there for us all throughout. Even met me at the entrance of the hospital after I flew in from NJ. He saw that our son was orthodox and helped him and us with all our needs, accommodations, kosher food etc. He went above and beyond with his care. What a man!

I was sorry to read of dr. Stav,s death.  I was his first medical assistant and secretary and worked for him from 1980  until his move to florida in 1983.  At that time he was just starting his practice in detroit and he was wonderful to work with

Our deepest condolences to the Stav family.  It was a GREAT pleasure woking and knowing Dr Stav.  Even though we have been gone from BGMC for 6 years, I think about all the good and bad days that we had there.  I remember many of days working with Dr Stav in the trauma bay,what a GREAT man. I worked with him professionally before I knew your family personally. I recognized the wonderful surgeon and the kind honest man he was right away. Dr. Stav saved my husband's life in the Broward General Trauma unit. Years later, we saw Dr. Stav at a concert; he recognized my husband and had tears in his eyes for his remarkable recovery. Dr. Stav was both brilliant and deeply human. Our sincere sympathy for the family at this painful time.

To Dr. Jodie Kodish Stav and family....my deepest condolence to you and family. Unfortunately Betty and I never got to meet you in person, but your father and my lifelong friend Eddie told me lots about Moshe and you; we tried to but never could find  a date that worked.Hopefully we can correct the omission in the winter time when we next come down to Boca. As one of many firefighter/paramedics whose been blessed to have met and worked with Dr. Stav I would like to extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Dr. Stav and pray for God's protective hand to keep over them during this period. He will be sorely missed.

As an ER nurse, I learned so much from Dr Stav! Whenever I had questions, he had answers and made sure I understood those answers. He was funny, full of wit and an extremely talented trauma surgeon. Broward will never be the same. Rest in Peace Dr Stav!

A great man that was loved and will be missed by many. May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

For the family,I worked with Dr Stav in surgery at Broward General and OSSI,years ago,we spoke Hebrew and he would always laugh at my NY accent,I will miss him,my thoughts and prayers are with you.
