Otto G. Gara was a Director for the Law Library of the NYS Appellate Courts before he and his wife Agnes retired to Boca Raton, FL in 1996. He was a Hungarian immigrant who was schooled as a lawyer in Hungary (Budapest) and he and Agnes came out to America in 1956 with not much more than the clothes on their back.
They had escaped the Holocaust, they then escaped the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, coming to Miami.
Their travels would take them around the country, including Chicago, where his only son Steve was born.
As a son, I learned much from him and of course since he's passed, he is now missed very much every day.
