Pearl was her name but to those who knew her she was either mom or grandma. She embraced and loved everyone as family whether related by blood or not. Her home was one where all were welcome. There was always an extra plate, a kind word, a place to lay your head if needed. Opinionated, albeit overly blunt at times, but if she was hard on you it was only because she cared and wanted the best for those she loved. She will always be remembered as a fun loving, spirited and sassy woman. One who loved to spend time with her family, dance, play cards, read, enjoy a good meal and have fun. I will end this with her 2 most spoken pieces of advice "remember the good times" and, perhaps more importantly, "use a fork!"
