Phyllis Ceil Garden Meshel 6/24/30-6/17/24 93 years old .. exactly one week before her 94th. It is with great sadness that i post the news that my mother transitioned today at 5a. She knew I loved the theater and kindly waited until after the Tony's as well as Father's Day for my brother. She is survived by myself and my brother Joel, her granddaughters Ava and Emerson, her nieces Marilynn Meshel, Lisa Weisbaum, Mindy Smolowitz, Lisa's husband Cary, Marilynn's grandson Chase and a few friends she has had for decades. Those of you who knew my mom can attest to the pride she showed for her children. I will search for photos but i was always so happy when she would be my date for the Emmy's. She knew each and every star (guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree ) and had the greatest time at the Will and Grace post Emmy parties. A loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, who was truly loved . An honor and a privilege being her son
