I met Richie years ago when I took care of his father.We have kept in touch over the years.He was always so kind  and thoughtful to me and my family.My condolences to the family at this time.RIP Richie you will be greatly missed

Richard was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed. 

I only had the pleasure of meeting  Mr. Coren  a few times.  He was such a pleasant and humble man. I am sure he is missed by all who knew him. My prayers go out to all of the family at this time of sorrow.

I learned a lot from Richie. He taught me how to turn up the dial during crunch time. He never ever got nervous. When he was sitting across from me at the bridge table, clearly giving it his all, it was impossible for me not to feed off that energy, and it elevated my game. There was no way, with Richie trying that hard, that I wanted to be the one who cost us a match! I think Richie had 6 first place finishes in major events and 0 (!) second place finishes. There aren't many players with a record like that.

I remember one particularly tough loss we had in the fall of 2019. We were leading a National event wire to wire (it was a swiss teams), and in the last round we had a bad result that dropped us out of first place. I was devastated. But Richie somehow took it in stride. He calmed me down, and really showed me that winning and losing were both part of the process, and that it was okay to accept the losing times and move on.

I'll never forget the grace that Richie had. I'm gonna miss him but I won't forget him.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on Richie's passing. "May his memory be for a blessing." We wish you peace and comfort in the weeks and months ahead.

We met Rich and Jodi , the month they moved into Addison Reserve, it was an instant friendship  that grew over the years !!
We met Alex, and shared beautiful holiday dinners with them  over the years.  
We met Billy and Andy, on a fun packed cruise that Jodi and Rich  arranged !!
Nolan and I will remember not only all the good times spent together including our wonderful
Bridge get togethers , but our forever fondness!
We love you Rich ! Rest In Peace !!
