

Richard N. Robbins, 87, of Tamarac, FL passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 after a brief illness. Dick is survived by his wife of 33 years, Beverley F Robbins, his children Jeff and his wife Deirdre, Scott and his partner Danny, Marc, and Michelle and her husband Marc, plus his grandchildren Janelle, Jordyn, Ian, Ari, and Gideon and his great grandson, Will. He will be laid to rest on Sunday at Star of David Cemetery, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL at 10:00am.
Dick was born to Elias and Betty Robbins on March 28, 1935, in Boston, MA. He was educated at Hebron Prep Academy, Brandeis University and graduated from Boston University.
Dick spent many years in the retail stereo business in Bridgeport, CT, as well as the wholesale food industry. But, he is best known as President of the Maven Show Management Company, a leader in the Antiques Show business in the Northeast. He is also the originator of the Doll, Toy, and Teddy Bear Shows. He is also the founder and first President of the Antiques Show Managers Association. When he relocated to Tamarac, FL, he served for many years as President of his Homeowners Association and The Woodmont Country Club. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
