Robert Jeffrey Macy, scratch golfer, of Fort Lauderdale, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 66 on December 7, 2025. Born in Wantagh, Long Island, Bobby was the founder and CEO of Macy Advertising for 25 years. He has been honored by his peers, winning numerous awards for his work.
Bobby was a devoted husband to Karyn Hitner Macy for almost 40 years. His world revolved around his cherished children, Evan Nathan Macy, Rebecca Macy Akben, and Mustafa Akben. He had two grandchildren, Suzanna Macy and Augustus Akben, the lights of his life.
Bob is also survived by his father, Milton, and his siblings, Karen Macy Ryan, Mitchell and Shari Macy. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews Loral, Jamie, Linzey, Joshua, Andrea and Robyn. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jaqueline.
He loved his family and friends.
He wants us to remember him with smiles and stories on the golf course.
He will never die if we keep him in our hearts.
