Sandra Louise Kaplan, 82, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026, in Aventura, Florida. Born on October 27, 1943, Sandra lived a life marked by strength, determination, and a deep love for her family and community.
Sandra is survived by her devoted daughter Beth Glickman (Scott), cherished grandsons Jacob and Adam Glickman, beloved sister Gale Deitch (Stanley), niece Marcie Epstein (Steve) and their son Jackson Epstein, and nephew Matthew Deitch. She was predeceased by her parents Abraham and Paula Lisogursky and grandparents Jacob and Ida Lisogursky and Nathan and Ethel Rosenberg.
A proud member of the Aventura community, Sandra was known for her active involvement in local activities. She found joy in lifelong learning through the Osher program at the University of Miami and delighted in traveling the world. Her strong will and perfectionist nature were evident in all she did, from her dedication to family to her willingness to help friends whenever needed. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory kindly directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Sandra's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her legacy of love and strength bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
A Chapel Service will be held at Star of David Memorial Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068, on August 13, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. Entombment in Judea Q Mausoleum will follow at Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 7701 Bailey Rd, North Lauderdale, FL 33068, following the chapel services.
