Returning our snowboard rentals at 7 Springs Ski Resort in PA. All smiles after a long day on the slopes. They both learned and progressed  quickly! Never even fell down.

12 years ago (March 19, 2014) while on a work trip. We demolished a full rack of ribs, shared some local beers and toasted in celebration of my bday. It was Shadi’s idea. He always found a way to make you feel special. Shadi and I were on nearly identical paths. We both attended UF Digital Arts & Sciences program (at the time a small, newly established track for undergrad). We both went on to UCF’s FIEA program, driven by a shared passion for video games, and we both eventually landed at Lockheed Martin. Even though we were on different teams, we ended up supporting the same project.

Shadi had a presence that lit up an entire room. He was quick-witted, always joking, and could get an entire room laughing within minutes. But behind that humor was someone who took his work seriously, he had a sharp attention to detail and real pride in his craft.

He was also an inspiration to me in his intense dedication to health, fitness, nutrition and bodybuilding. He brought the same discipline to his physical goals as he did to his career. Years later, I owe my own transformation and competing for 2 years in Men’s Physique to him. I never got the chance to tell him this. He was taken from us too soon.

RIP Shadi 🙏 you were always a great friend, and inspiration. You will be missed, but never forgotten. Until we meet again.

I brought extra snow jackets and gear (on the work trip) for Leo and Shadi to borrow so they couldn’t say no to going snowboarding with me.

We took a day trip on the weekend from Akron, OH to 7 Springs Ski Resort in PA. I taught Shadi and Leo how to snowboard for their first and second time. Shadi was hesitant, but brave, and we quickly graduated from the bunny slopes and conquered all the green runs we could. We celebrated them being injury free and from that day on we said we’re “Snow Bros for life”

Lockheed Martin Reunions throughout the years. Always good to catch up over a meal with Shadi and all my best work buddies when I was back in Orlando visiting.

12 years ago. Getting shown the best food spots by the locals during our work trip. As much as he liked to work out and build muscle, he also loved to eat (like me). We used to plan out our meals and try to max out per diem for the day. Shadi was always really into fitness and bodybuilding. He is actually one of my biggest inspirations for my own transformation and competing in bodybuilding years later. I wish I got to tell him that.

12 yrs ago today. We were on a work trip to Akron, OH. It started snowing, so we took a quick break to play in the snow. Giggling the entire time like little kids, we made a mini snowman, and threw mini snowballs at each other. We were excited, coming from FL we weren’t used to anything like it. It probably only lasted for 15 mins, but I remember like it was yesterday.

Shadi, our friendship meant so much to me. Our conversations about issues in our lives, our common fitness struggles, shared anticipation of upcoming pc hardware, and excitement about gaming filled my days with meaning and connection. Neither of us let others in easily, so I know you found the same meaning I did in those moments of vulnerability.  All I find myself wishing now is that we could share one more gym trip or one more conversation. You will be missed, more than you'll ever know.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Shadi, who left us far too soon at the age of 42.

Here at Lockheed Martin, Shadi helped design a digital badge created to recognize those whose efforts positively impact the team. Today, we dedicate that same badge to him — in recognition of his overwhelmingly positive impact on all of us over the past decade and more.

Shadi was a remarkable person whose big heart, quiet generosity, and unwavering integrity touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He held himself to an exceptionally high standard in everything he did, approaching both his work and his relationships with care, thoughtfulness, and purpose. Talented and meticulous, he took great pride in doing things the right way — not for recognition, but because excellence mattered deeply to him.

Professionally, Shadi made a lasting impact through both his skill and his spirit. He brought creativity, precision, and dedication to every project, elevating the work and the people around him.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Shadi will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and the genuine care he showed to friends and coworkers alike. He listened deeply, helped readily, and gave of himself without hesitation. His presence brought calm, reliability, and warmth, and his absence will be profoundly felt.

Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will endure — in the lives he touched, the standards he modeled, and the memories we will carry forward.

Shadi is deeply missed and will always be remembered with gratitude, respect, and affection.

Shadi was a colleague and more importantly a friend who has gone way too soon.  We mourn him at LM as we will no longer witness his beautiful art and as he leaves big shoes to fill. I appreciated Shadi for his thoughtful and diligent work as well as his caring and thoughtful personality.  I loved hearing Shadi share his insights whether it was work advancements, movies (Wonder Woman and Gal Gadot), fitness, food or anything he was passionate about.  Thoughts and prayers for family and friends of Shadi.

Such an amazing soul gone too soon. Love you bro will miss our laughs and dogs park hangouts with Arkham. Rest easy brother !

We are beyond devastated to hear this terrible news. You were always so genuine, kind, and loving. You always had a smile on your face. We are all heart-broken that you are no longer with us. We are all here for your mom and sister.

Shadi was someone fiercely loyal to his family and friends. He always had a joke ready because he wanted everyone to smile, laugh, and generally feel like they were valued. We had some great adventures together and I'll never forget the view we saw after we hiked the Dragon's Back.

Love you Shadi. The world is a dimmer without you.

I was honored to have Shadi as a groomsman at my wedding. We took a few serious photos, but goofing off is something we did best. He would never pass on an opportunity to be silly.

Shadi loved to fish and jumped at the opportunity to join me in some deep sea fishing. On this trip he helped me bring in a huge bonita that put up a heck of a fight.

Shadi was my roommate when were we're attending FIEA. Together we threw some of the best parties. He always knew how to have a great time.

Shadi was such a positive, enthusiastic, professional modeler for Lockheed Martin- he truly helped make the simulation modeling transition from Akron to Orlando a success, making everyone feel included and important. I enjoyed working with him, his ability to think outside the box in simulation scenarios and creating solutions that worked so well... sharing his excellent lunch restaurant choices but most of all his good humor and friendship-   My sincere condolences to his family, friends and peers.

Love you like a brother from another mother.  Always believed in me and made me feel like a superhero. Gone far too soon.  You will be missed.

Working on my old Suzuki TL1000s with Shadi in my destroyed garage.  He always laughed and referred to it as a Hong Kong junk shop.   I laugh every time I think about that.
