Steven was born in Steubenville, Ohio to parents Morris and Elizabeth. The oldest of four siblings – the family moved to South Florida in 1953. Steven graduated from Coral Gables Senior High School. He later started what would end up being a remarkable, more than 48 year career as a mail clerk with The U.S. Customs Service/Customs and Border Protection in Miami. In 2015 – he was honored in a Department of Homeland Security ceremony for his longevity and also awarded the ‘Port Director Unsung Hero Award.’
A funeral service for Steven will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 11:45 AM at Star of David Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens (7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068). Following the funeral service, a committal service will be held from 12:15 PM until 12:45 PM in the Garden of Aaron II. The family requests that you kindly arrive to the funeral home by 11:30 AM.
