Terry Suskauer, age 92, of Pompano Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026. Timelessly beautiful, sassy, and a force of nature, she was endlessly adored by her family and Long Beach, NY and Palm Aire communities. Terry was movie-star gorgeous and modeled for many years. She was a spectacular cook, even better baker, and you never left her house hungry or without a care package filled with her famous filas, borekas or roskitas. Her rice, salad dressing and special sweet potatoes are legendary and she was proud of her food column where she shared her award-winning recipes with her community. With Sephardic roots, she spoke both English, Spanish and Ladino. She adored dogs more than most people, especially her Cleo, who she said saved her life and she treasured her grand-dog Tucker's nightly Facetime serenades. Resilient through health battles, and unwaveringly sharp, her granddaughters lovingly called their Nona "Bada**", a label she adopted proudly. She was fiercely independent, and lived on her own terms. An avid reader, she loved her books and audiobooks. A true sports fan, she never missed any game - or anyone's birthday. Terry was fearless, inquisitive, well-informed, opinionated and completely dedicated to her family. She loved Melilla, Scarlett, Dora, Sonia, and especially Damian Woodcock, who were a source of so much love and care and will miss her terribly.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, John. They had a fairytale romance, were true soulmates, and Terry always felt that he was her one and only. She is also predeceased by her incredible brother, Fred Arditti. She is survived by her sister, Lee Lereah, her daughter, Linda Weiss (Jonathan), son, Bill (Elizabeth), son, Scott (Michelle), grandchildren Melissa, Wendy, Kayla Boyles (Glen), John (Taylor), Talia, Becca, and great-granddaughter, Palmer, and all her nieces and nephews that she dearly loved, especially Marsha Cohen.
