Mr. Munnerlyn served as my Sunday School teacher as a young teen. Even when our attendance was low, he was faithful to those of us who were there. He never seemed to mind that he had prepared for just a few, giving us the assurance that we mattered. Shirley, I am aware that you both continued to serve the Lord through the years and I am so glad to have had you and your family as apart of the extended Berea family that surrounded all of us who grew up there with love, prayer, & an example of how to live for Jesus. May you & your children feel the peace that He gives.

We were having a Halloween party at church and everyone was dressed up. I remember a man standing next to the wall wearing a full face stocking cap. He didn't move for hours. I went up to him several times and asked "is that you Mr Munnerlyn?" He never let out a peep. Of course, later I found out it was him. He was hilarious :) Both he and Mrs Munnerlyn were always wonderful examples and friends to all us Sheeks kids. God Bless all the Munnerlyn family.

AJ was like a father to me. He was always saying things that made me laugh. I will miss him so much. The whole family always made me and my family feel so welcome. We are so blessed to have got the chance to know this wonderful man and feel the love he and Shirley shared with everyone.
Love Cammie and the family
