From Alice Mounts (classmate of Ava)

Ava was always sweet and kind. She was a teachers helper. She always went to people that felt left out and played with them. I got to eat lunch with her every day. We talked a lot. She always wore a Moana necklace. Ava loved to swim and her favorite color was red. I will miss my friend. 😞❤️🙏

I’ve known Ava mostly through stories Mary Kaye would share with me at work and the occasional exchange of pictures of our girls Halloween costumes.
Ava brought light and laughter to this world.

There are no words which can express the depth of sorrow.
Praying for you Mary Kaye and all your family.

Bounce houses, birthday parties, trick or treating at the hospital, Awana, skipping, giggling, dress-up, playing, swimming ,Vacation Bible School, singing, and countless other memories of sweet Ava. She was an amazing friend and if Ava was going to be there the kids were guaranteed a fun time. We carry all of those memories with us now and treasure each one. We’ll see you in Heaven one day sweet girl. Praying for all of your friends and family. ❤️

I've watched Ava grow over the last five years on Facebook through MK's hilarious, witty, sassy and charming posts. My favorite memory was how she would sing at bedtime. Most moms would be so annoyed from exhaustion at the end of the day, but MK just enjoyed her all the more. I love the memory because it says a lot about both of them and thier relationship. My other favorites are all her fashion photos with sassy poses and the time she dressed like Cinderella and went out to sing to animals hoping they would talk to her.

I just can't believe she is gone. But I know in her short life she made millions of incredible memories and touched so many lives. Even just through Facebook❤️. I know she is entertaining up in Heaven now.
