Betty Jean Ketcher, 93, passed away peacefully at Hospice Care Center in Little Rock, AR, November 8, 2022. She was born on August 30, 1929, to parents Bert and Ida Conn. Betty graduated from Fuller High School in Little Rock in 1942.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Edith Stout Childress and her husband of 52 years, Julius Lee Ketcher. Left to cherish her memory are her children Vivian Allen of Little Rock, Mike Ketcher of Cabot, Gina Nesbit and her husband, Larry of Austin, Robert Ketcher of Little Rock and Gregory Ketcher and his wife, Pam of Hensley; her grandchildren, Valerie Rosenow and husband, Eric of Coreyton TN, Jennifer Allen of Little Rock, Jason Ketcher and wife, Samantha of Cabot, Tara Gaspar of Sherwood, Corey Nesbit of Raleigh, NC, Sara Libby and her husband, Michael of North Little Rock, Vanessa Ketcher of Mountain View, Cara Pickard of Hensley, Logan Pickard of Hensley; great grandchildren, Christian Cook, John Cook William Cook, Brianna Burris, Makayla Allen, Aliyah St. Clair, Daniel Gaspar, Peyton Ketcher, Lane Ketcher, Silas Ketcher, Eliza Ketcher, Autumn Ketcher, Devon Chaney, Braxton Atkins, Cora Hurd, Silas Powell, Charlotte Powell, and great-great grandson, David Cook.
A longtime member of First Christian Church in Sherwood. She was also a long time employee at Answerfone, Inc. Betty was a kind, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by her family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in NLR. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
